The region this year entered teams in the open, 17-and-under, 15-and-under and 17-and-under male sections, with the 15-and-unders winning the most games in the round robin format.<\/p>\n
The titles act one of the state’s premier talent identification and development events for emerging athletes, coaches, umpires and officials, and a vital cog in the pathways system, according to Netball Victoria general manager community Abbey Misso.<\/p>\n
“We’re incredibly excited to bring State Titles back to Bendigo in 2027. Bendigo holds a special place in Victoria’s netball story, with a proud tradition of welcoming major events and creating great experiences for athletes, coaches, umpires, volunteers and supporters alike,” Misso said.<\/p>\n
“We’re proud to continue creating opportunities for players and communities to grow, connect and thrive through netball, and we can’t wait to welcome the Victorian netball community back to Bendigo for what promises to be a truly special event.”<\/p>\n
Roll’d will continue as the official State Titles partner.<\/p>\n
City of Greater Bendigo manager economy and experience James Myatt said the city was looking forward to the event’s return.<\/p>\n
“This will be an outstanding tournament and a true launchpad for emerging talent, bringing together female, male and mixed teams from across Victoria,” he said.<\/p>\n
“We’re delighted to welcome more than 600 athletes, along with their coaches, officials and families, for an exciting long weekend of high-quality competition in March 2027, while showcasing the best of our beautiful city.”<\/p>\n
Elmer will enter the 2027 titles as reigning open division champion.<\/p>\n
