\u00a0<\/strong>WORKS are underway at White Hills Primary school to improve the students\u2019 amenities.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Member for Bendigo East Jacinta Allan announced State Government funding to deliver new and improved toilets at the school.<\/p>\n

The project, worth $70,412, is set to improve the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities and provide a big update to the education facility overall.<\/p>\n

Ms Allan said the funding is part of the $4.6 million set aside for White Hills Primary School included in the 2019-20 State budget, which also includes plans for works to upgrade and modernise old classrooms and facilities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re making sure that our schools have the best facilities, our classrooms have the best teachers and that every child is given every chance to succeed,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhite Hills families are a step closer to getting the great local school facilities their kids need to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

The works at White Hills Primary are form the continuation of the State Government\u2019s capital upgrades in schools, with $10.9 billion invested in new facilities and 1700 upgrades across Victoria.<\/p>\n

The Minor Capital Works fund is being delivered progressively, with a goal of completing all small projects that make a big difference by the end of 2022.<\/p>\n

The 2021-22 State budget, announced last month, has set aside $20 million in this fund.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
