{"id":76751,"date":"2021-07-06T15:10:30","date_gmt":"2021-07-06T05:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/?p=76751"},"modified":"2022-02-27T11:06:02","modified_gmt":"2022-02-27T00:06:02","slug":"more-bookings-available-for-awaken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/news\/more-bookings-available-for-awaken\/","title":{"rendered":"More bookings available for Awaken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CROWD capacity for <em>Awaken<\/em> has increased.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Greater Bendigo has announced \u00a01500 extra bookings are available, with an extra 500 bookings on Friday and Saturday nights.<\/p>\n<p>City acting director for strategy and growth Andrew Cooney said so far <em>Awaken <\/em>has been a \u201chuge success\u201d with over 51,000 tickets booked to the free light and sensory experience.<\/p>\n<p>The State Government approved the City\u2019s request to increase the number of people at Rosalind Park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnder the initial restrictions the event was booked out for the remaining nights, so many people would have missed out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are delighted that with the increase in capacity numbers, more people will have the opportunity to see <em>Awaken<\/em>and we strongly encourage people to book online to avoid disappointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo keep our community safe, new ticket bookings will include a declaration that you have not visited any red zones or public exposure sites that are listed on the Department of Health Victoria website.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Masks and social distancing is required, and QR Code check-in is mandatory for people over 12 months old with manual check-ins available for people that don\u2019t have a smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Awaken<\/em> runs for four hours each night, so there is no need to arrive exactly at 6pm during the week or at 7pm on Friday and Saturday,\u201d Mr Cooney said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can come later to avoid queues and still have plenty of time to enjoy the displays in Rosalind Park and we recommend allowing at least an hour for the full experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Awaken <\/em>runs until Saturday, 17 July and tickets are available at <strong>bit.ly\/3yrgCFz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CROWD capacity for Awaken has increased.
