Baby Show Time is bringing their competition back to Lansell Square on Friday, 30 July in search of the region\u2019s king and queen.<\/p>\n
BST is a major supporter of the Kids with Cancer Foundation Australia, and owner Jayne Wood said they play a \u201cmassive role\u201d in helping children and families suffering from cancer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got some Baby Show Time entrants who\u2019ve been diagnosed with leukemia and some that we\u2019re currently helping personally as well as through the Kids with Cancer Foundation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cBaby Show Time supports families who are going through cancer as well supporting kids with cancer, we\u2019re doing both.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Wood said the response to the show has always been positive and the support from mums and families is \u201camazing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of mums that are there purely to donate and what they get out of the show isn\u2019t as important as what the donation part is,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s other people that are wanting to get out of the house and have fun and socialise because they feel they don\u2019t have much of a social life being a mum and stuck at home.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are a lot of mums and families that really help and it\u2019s amazing, they\u2019re really great supporters.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ms Wood said the Bendigo show, open to newborn children to eight year olds is usually \u201cone of the most popular\u201d events in the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019ll be a last week of qualifying for our state finals event and many of our children that have won state finals in the past have come from Bendigo,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
