THE All Blacks trashed the Wallabies 57-22 at Eden Park on Saturday night to seal their nineteenth straight Bledisloe Cup triumph.<\/p>\n
New Zealand recorded their highest ever score against Australia to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-game series.<\/p>\n
Leading 21-15 at half-time, Ian Foster\u2019s men crushed their trans-Tasman rivals in the second half to run out 35-point victors in Auckland.<\/p>\n
It extended the All Blacks\u2019 incredible unbeaten streak at Eden Park \u2013 they haven\u2019t lost at the venue since 1994.<\/p>\n
Wallabies coach Dave Rennie lamented his side\u2019s mistakes with and without the ball that were ruthlessly punished by the hosts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were well beaten and well beaten because we didn’t treasure the ball enough,\u201d Rennie said post-game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought we defended really well in the first half and were physical, but we made some really poor decisions defensively if we turned the ball over or kicked poorly.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got exposed down the short side and threw a couple of intercepts when there was clear space behind to put the pressure on them.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt’s disappointing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The third and final Bledisloe Cup match takes place at Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday, August 28.<\/p>\n
