You may have known them as Bendigo Property Plus, but the recently rebranded Property Plus Real Estate is striving to keep a personalised touch as their business grows beyond the region.<\/p>\n
Established in 2009 by Nathan Diss and his wife, Jane, the business underwent its first makeover some five months ago aimed at creating a modern but approachable feel.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were quite careful in the way we did it, we didn\u2019t want to lose who we already were,\u201d Mr Diss said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were a home-grown business that started from scratch and went from strength to strength.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe haven\u2019t tried to go away from personalised service and trying to be really practical and relatable to people.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing able to offer the service and cutting-edge stuff that everyone wants these days to market their house but not look too far away from that personal touch, being able to talk to people and not relying completely on the new age stuff that real estate has moved into over the last 10 to 15 years, that was our biggest thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
The agency has expanded their reach to include areas about one hour outside of Bendigo, and the new technology they are using to help get sellers the best outcome and buyers all the information they need includes a collection of 3D cameras that create virtual tours of listed properties.<\/p>\n
With continued success, the Property Plus Real Estate team has grown well beyond its two founding staff members to now include 14 dedicated professionals.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got staff that have been with us for over 10 years,\u201d Mr Diss said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe get a lot of repeat business because we think we have that continuity of service that we\u2019ve been able to offer ever since we\u2019ve started.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Diss also said the Property Plus Real Estate took a team approach to their work in sales and property management.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe find that sometimes property management can be the poor cousin to sales when it comes to real estate, but we see it as hand in hand,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In his relatively young company\u2019s history, Mr Diss said there were lessons to be learnt but one thing remained clear.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have had a lot to think about, particularly when we went through this process of the rebrand, and to be honest good old-fashioned service really never dies,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
