LIVE music production company Pure Harmony Music and Events is heading to regional Victoria this festive season with an epic opera.<\/p>\n
Their seven-piece chamber orchestra and eight-piece vocal ensemble will stop in Bendigo on 16 December to take on George Frideric Handel\u2019s Messiah<\/em>, led by conductor and harpsichordist Jane Matheson.<\/p>\n The show\u2019s artistic director Adrian Tamburini said he was eager to showcase the Baroque composer\u2019s world-famous 1741 oratorio to audiences.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the first live classical music concert that most of these communities will attend since the beginning of the pandemic,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI am so proud and privileged to be able to share this glorious music with these regional communities in some of the most beautiful and historic buildings throughout Victoria.\u201d<\/p>\n Booked for St Paul\u2019s Cathedral in Bendigo, a string of performances are also scheduled for another five regional locations across the state.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been lucky to have performed in all of these towns before and I am so glad that I will be able to bring 16 of Victoria’s finest musicians to share this wonderful experience,\u201d Mr Tamburini said.<\/p>\n An opera singer and show soloist himself, Mr Tamburini said the performances brought together top musicians for a family friendly live music experience.<\/p>\n “Many of our musicians have had international careers performing with some of the greatest orchestras and opera companies in the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cThe audience will be treated to a world-class performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
