THIRTEEN Bendigo artists have come together for a new exhibition at the Living Arts Space in the Visitor Centre.<\/p>\n
Imprint <\/em>is a collection of more than 50 prints made using a range of processes, and visitor services manager Jemma Docherty said the exhibition was curated to help creatives reconnect with the community.<\/p>\n \u201cThe COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant financial impact on local artists and their livelihoods with many experiencing cancelled and postponed exhibitions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cImprint<\/em>\u00a0is an opportunity to celebrate the diverse range of artists and acknowledge the important contribution that our local creative artists make to our region\u2019s arts culture.\u201d<\/p>\n The exhibition will officially open on Thursday night in conjunction with a festive shopping event at the Visitor Centre from 4pm to 8pm.<\/p>\n Ms Docherty said the event was part of the City of Greater Bendigo\u2019s\u00a0Love Your Local\u00a0Christmas campaign to support producers, artists and makers during the gift giving season.<\/p>\n
