BULL Street will come to life this Easter with the return of the major street music festival.<\/p>\n

Owner operator of the Metropolitan Hotel and event organiser Andrew Lethlean said this year\u2019s street party is \u201cprobably bigger and better than ever before.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s probably the first time in two years we\u2019ve really had the full street open, so we\u2019re back to some sort of normality,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re expecting much bigger crowds, it\u2019s all ticketed so we can keep control of the numbers as well. We\u2019ll have bigger numbers than we\u2019ve had before so it\u2019s exciting for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s line-up over Good Friday and Easter Saturday and Sunday includes a wide range of music and genres, from DJs to 80s to a special tribute.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur market ranges from anyone 18 through to 70 so we\u2019re catering for the young ones on Friday night, headlined by Tigerlily and we\u2019ve got some big pulling DJs like Bread Gang, Ebony Grayce, and Jesse James,\u201d Mr Lethlean said.<\/p>\n

Old school rockers Brian Mannix, Scott Carnes and Sean Kelly will bring their Absolutely 80s<\/em> show on the Saturday night, supported by local artists and bands, and the weekend will be rounded out on Sunday night with an ABBA tribute band.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe always finale with our biggest and best tributes, and ABBA\u2019s one that just makes everyone happy,\u201d Mr Lethlean said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a band everyone loves whether you\u2019re young or old and they\u2019re supported by a heap of local bands.\u201d<\/p>\n

Almost all of Bull Street will be open for the music festival and Mr Lethlean is expecting about 3000 people to turn out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese events are imperative for our hospitality businesses long-term survival and hopefully the return to more normal after Easter,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be a huge festival.\u201d<\/p>\n
