BENDIGO Marketplace is set to deliver some eggstreme Easter fun over the upcoming school holiday period, that will have the kids feeling very hip hop hooray!<\/p>\n
Kicking off with The Hatchery from 11-14 April, the mall outside of Best and Less will be transformed into a sunny yellow space complete with sunflower florals where kids can cuddle baby chickens, explore bunny hutches and learn about the hatching process with educational incubators.<\/p>\n
There will also be some cracking chicken craft activities plus Easter donut and cupcake decorating in the food court.<\/p>\n
The following week from 19-22 April will see the Discovery Centre offer hands-on science activities including Scribble Bots; robots that colour on their own!<\/p>\n
These fascinating machines operate off a vibrating motor that helps the robot skip across a piece of paper and use art supplies as the robot\u2019s \u2018legs\u2019 in order to draw or paint on the surface.<\/p>\n
A thrilling activation for budding scientists and tech nerds brought to you by Discovery Science & Technology Centre.<\/p>\n
All of these exciting activities will take place from 10am to 1pm with daily appearances from the Easter bunny.<\/p>\n
Activities are free, however, through its ongoing commitment to the local community, Bendigo Marketplace is seeking a gold coin donation for the donut and cupcake decorating in support of Bendigo Health and Vision Australia Bendigo.<\/p>\n
