AFTER a breakthrough victory, Maiden Gully YCW Eagles have Mitiamo in their sights ahead of Saturday\u2019s seventh round of the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley Football League\u2019s senior footy action.<\/p>\n
The Eagles will be back on home turf at Marist College to take on a Superoos line-up on the rebound from a four-point loss on their ground at John Forbes Oval to Pyramid Hill.<\/p>\n
The Wayne Mitrovic-coached Eagles made a flying start to last Saturday\u2019s clash on Calivil United\u2019s turf to lead 39-29 at quarter-time and went on to win 90-76 as Jessi Lampi, Hamish McCartney and ruckman Chris Howgate led the way.<\/p>\n
Mitiamo led the unbeaten Pyramid Hill, 34-26 at half-time, but it was the Bulldogs who despite wayward kicking won 5.22 (52) to 7.6 (48).<\/p>\n
The Marcus McKern-coached Superoos will look to Lee Dale, Doug Thomas, Jack Vinnicombe to lead the way to victory in the Eagles\u2019 nest.<\/p>\n
Newbridge will be back at Holloway Air Riverside Oval at Newbridge to take on Bridgewater.<\/p>\n
The Maroons were beaten by 20 points at Serpentine, while Bridgewater had the bye after a 16-point loss to Calivil United the previous round.<\/p>\n
