PEOPLE with a penchant for photography and astronomy will have the rare opportunity to combine the two when leading astrophotographer David Magro visits Bendigo later this month to present his renowned Milky Way Masterclass.<\/p>\n
Starting off at the Bendigo Club before venturing outdoors and into the night, participants with all levels of experience will be taught how to effectively photograph the Milky Way and other parts of the evening sky, compose photographs in the dark, and produce noise-free, panoramic images.<\/p>\n
Magro said he\u2019s thrilled to be able to travel across Australia teaching astrophotography again after the limitations over the past two years.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have just returned home after the country New South Wales tour and I look forward to travelling all across Victoria for over two weeks with a masterclass each night,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy last Milky Way Masterclass tour in Victoria was back in 2018 and I am excited to be visiting again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Magro said attendees need no experience, as his method of teaching is designed \u201cfrom the ground upwards\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cMost people who join photograph their first Milky Way photograph [during] the masterclass and are amazed with their photos.<\/p>\n
Any DSLR camera can photograph the stars and if you wish, I bring cameras for people to borrow on the night.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen booking your spot, in the message box let me know and I will have one ready for you. All you need to bring is an SD card to take your photographs home easily on the night.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Milky Way Masterclass takes place on Wednesday, 25 May from 5.30pm to 10pm, starting off at the Bendigo Club.<\/p>\n
