KENNINGTON locals have a reason to get excited because the new look Woolworths Kennington Village store has completed its renovations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to be able to offer a convenient new look full range supermarket for our customers, giving local shoppers a better shopping experience and providing all their grocery and fresh food needs in our updated store,\u201d said Woolworths Kennington Village store manager, Paul Thorpe.<\/p>\n

Woolworths Kennington customers can now access a Direct To Boot service with new dedicated parking bays for online shoppers.<\/p>\n

The service is ideal for those shoppers looking for a fast, convenient and contactless way to collect their groceries, while maintaining social distance.<\/p>\n

It allows shoppers to confirm a preferred pick up time for online shopping and a Woolies team member will place it straight in the car boot when customers arrive in the new designated car park spots, now located at the rear of the store.<\/p>\n

There’s also an extensive fresh fruit and vegetable section, with certified organic products, as well as a range of fresh fish and seafood.<\/p>\n

The new look continental style deli also offers a great range of local and international cheeses, plus there’s a full production bakery and in-store butchers to help decide on cuts of meats and how to prepare, cook and serve to ensure a fresh and delicious meal.<\/p>\n

Amongst other key features at the new look store, customers can also access a new Scan&Go service offering a quick & convenient, cashless and contactless way to shop.<\/p>\n

Shoppers need to download the Woolworths App, link their Everyday Rewards card and then add “Scan&Go” and to their preferred payment method.\u00a0 Customers simply scan the barcode on the items as they shop and pay for their groceries using the in-App payment method – skipping any queues by heading straight to the dedicated Scan&Go checkout.<\/p>\n

The new look store is open from 7am to 10pm daily and is located in the Kennington Village shopping centre, 150 Condon Street, Kennington.<\/p>\n
