KYNETON has unleashed another brilliant final term to score a twenty-one-point victory against Eaglehawk in Saturday\u2019s seventh round of the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football League senior footy action.<\/p>\n
The Tigers and Hawks were both in great form going into the Indigenous Round match on the Hawks\u2019 turf at Canterbury Park.<\/p>\n
Scores were locked on 11-all at quarter-time, but the Tigers gained an eight-point break by the half.<\/p>\n
The Hawks dominated most of the third, but were let down by inaccuracy as they scored 5.6 to 3.3.<\/p>\n
Led by the play of Louis Thompson, Cameron Manuel and Mitch Comben it was Kyneton that charged clear of the Two Blues in the last term.<\/p>\n
The Paul Chapman-coached Tigers added 4.2 to 1.4 to complete an 80-59 victory.<\/p>\n
Cameron Manuel led the attack for the yellow and black with five goals as Rhys Magin added two majors.<\/p>\n
Leading goalkickers for the Borough were Liam Marciano and Noah Wheeler on two each.<\/p>\n
Best for Kyneton included ruck-rover Hamish Yunghanns, Frazer Driscoll and Jake Safstrom.<\/p>\n
Eaglehawk\u2019s top players were Dillon Williams, Billy Evans, Charlie Laangford, Noah Wheeler, Clayton Holmes and Brady Rowles.<\/p>\n
The Hawks and Tigers are now locked on identical records on four-three, but Eaglehawk hold onto fourth place by 24 per cent.<\/p>\n
