ONE lucky singer or band could get ongoing financial support as part of Golden Vine Hotel\u2019s new sponsorship initiative.<\/p>\n
The pub and live music destination recently announced a competition for local offering a prize of $15,000 annually, paid weekly, as well as ongoing gigs.<\/p>\n
Co-owner of Golden Vine Hotel, Gary Dahan, said he and his partner Theresa Dahan came up with the idea to give something back to the music community.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe pub is really firing,\u201d he said. \u201cTheresa and I made the decision to give a little bit back and sponsor a local musician so they can find the time to work on their music, song writing, whichever way they want to utilise the money.\u201d<\/p>\n
