GATHER round music lovers, one of the most unique live music experiences is back in Bendigo.<\/p>\n

The Sing a Song of Sixpence winter tour comes to the Old Church on the Hill this Sunday at 2pm the final stop of its regional Victorian trip.<\/p>\n

The show sees a group of artists prepare about four of their own songs and join forces alongside a world-class accompanist, playing in a circle with the audience sitting around them.<\/p>\n

Creator of the show, Melbourne musician and songwriter Delsinki, said vibes have been high at the tour, which started in Archies Creek in June.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe artists are having a ball,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s such a great thing to be a part of when you see people that wouldn\u2019t normally play together.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to see the collaboration between artists. For five or six artists to sit in a circle and basically hang out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really good exercise for the artists and the audience\u2026 the vibrations that go out form the musicians resonates with the crowd as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Delsinki is the man behind the Six Pence experience.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Delsinki said the same group of artists usually play together for three shows and no two performances are the same.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt all comes together\u2026 by the third show they\u2019re all so across each other\u2019s instruments you\u2019ve almost got a whole brand-new band playing, that\u2019s what Bendigo will be getting on Sunday,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Delsinki will play together with Justin Bernasconi, Rebecca Barnard, Alana Wilkinson, and Mark Atkins, accompanied by Duncan Yardley on the fiddle.<\/p>\n

One to watch is Mark Atkins, an Aboriginal musician known for his didgeridoo talent.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis didgeridoo playing is out of this world, phenomenal,\u201d Delsinki said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s going to be in Bendigo, I urge people if they have any interest in music, they should really catch Mark while he\u2019s in town because he\u2019s something to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n
