<\/p>\nIT\u2019S going to be another dogfight when Golden Square and Gisborne clash in Saturday\u2019s seventeenth round of the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football League.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s third tackles first on Golden Square\u2019s turf at Fur Life Oval in Wade Street.<\/p>\n
When these clubs met in round eight it was Gisborne which scored a 15-point victory at Gardiner Reserve.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s plenty of goalscoring power in both line-ups.<\/p>\n
Golden Square has a formidable attack that includes Joel Brett, Jayden Burke, Tom Strauch and Braydon Vaz.<\/p>\n
They will be up against Gisborne\u2019s Jack Reaper, Liam Spear, Matt Cassidy and Jake Normington.<\/p>\n
Gisborne captain Pat McKenna is one of the league\u2019s best and joins forces with the likes of Ben Eales, Ethan Foreman and Harry Thomas.<\/p>\n
A strong Golden Square defence includes Jack Merrin, Zach Shelton, Liam Barrett and Jon Coe.<\/p>\n
Another big match will be at Queen Elizabeth Oval where Sandhurst takes on Kyneton.<\/p>\n
This contest between the Dragons and Tigers could decide who will be in the finals.<\/p>\n
Sandhurst has an eight and eight record and 128 per cent and in pursuit of the fourth-placed Kyneton, who are nine and seven with 119 percentage.<\/p>\n
In round eight it was some Rhys Magin magic which clinched an 11-point win for the Tigers on their turf against the Dragons.<\/p>\n
Players to watch for Sandhurst include Cobi Maxted, Noah Walsh, James and Lee Coghlan, Joel Wharton and Liam Ireland.<\/p>\n
The yellow and black has Cameron Manuel, Rhys Magin and Angus Nolte in hot form in attack and Dean Bartrop and Frazer Driscoll winning many contests.<\/p>\n
Beaten at Kyneton, Eaglehawk\u2019s finals hopes took another hit.<\/p>\n
The Hawks will be back at Canterbury Park to take on Castlemaine this Saturday where they should have too much scoring power for the Magpies to hold.<\/p>\n
Key players for the Two Blues include Billy Evans, Clayton Holmes, Ben Thompson and Dillon Williams.<\/p>\n
A tough run for Kangaroo Flat rolls on as it faces Strathfieldsaye Storm on the Roos\u2019 ground at Dower Park.<\/p>\n
Storm dominated the round 16 clash with South Bendigo at Triple M Park and has plenty of on-ballers and forwards in great form.<\/p>\n
Maryborough is on home turf at Princes Park to take on South Bendigo.<\/p>\n
