The Bulldogs brought up their first major when Luke Ellings slid for the ball reminiscent of an eel to win possession near the goal square, regain his footing and kick truly to put the Dogs up 10-9.<\/p>\n
After a several rushed behinds, Gisborne went further ahead when Matt Merrett capped a series of passes from defence and through midfield to goal.<\/p>\n
At the long break it was the Dogs with a 21-9 lead.<\/p>\n
A Gisborne defence led by Jack Reaper, Jaidyn Owen and Zac Vescovi continued to repel Storm\u2019s attacks or spoil shots on goal.<\/p>\n
Storm added seven points in the third as Gisborne posted three behinds.<\/p>\n
