A GOOD crowd turned up for Bendigo Gliding Club’s Open Day, held on Sunday, 9 October 9 its airstrip in Raywood.<\/p>\n

Displays on show included a range of vintage and modern gliders as well as classic cars and motorcycles.<\/p>\n

People were allowed to get close up to see cockpit instruments and some even got to sit inside to get a real feel for the aircraft.<\/p>\n

Good weather all day encouraged quite a few visitors to take the opportunity to have an air experience flight, and attendees took full advantage of the sausage sizzle while also grabbing gliding related printed material and having a turn on the glider flight simulator available in the clubhouse.<\/p>\n
