CAMP Hill Primary School will gain new permanent classrooms if Labor forms government after next month\u2019s State election.<\/p>\n
Member for Bendigo West, and the electorate\u2019s Labor candidate, Maree Edwards announced $4.1 million would build four classrooms and an art area, to replace temporary spaces.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery family deserves a great local school, and a re-elected Andrews Labor Government will replace all the relocatables at Camp Hill Primary School with permanent buildings, so kids in Bendigo have the world-class classrooms they deserve,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe best teachers aren\u2019t able to do the best job in ageing classrooms and out-of-date facilities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s why the Andrews Labor Government has invested more than $12.8 billion to build and upgrade schools in every corner of the state, making sure every kid has every chance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Minister for Education Natalie Hutchins said the quality of learning spaces should reflect the quality of the teaching and learning taking place within them each day.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur teachers do an amazing job educating Victorian students, and that\u2019s why we deliver so many new and upgraded classrooms and facilities at schools right across the state,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
