SOCIAL art and connectedness came with a festive flavour at PepperGreen Farm this week.<\/p>\n
On Monday members of weekly community wellbeing art program left their Christmas decoration creations amount the peas, tomatoes and cucumbers of Access Australia Group\u2019s social enterprise garden.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe decided to do something that would give back to the community,\u201d said facilitator Kim Lowe.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe chose PepperGreen Farm to meet for a couple of weeks and created some Christmas baubles that we \u2018abandon\u2019 for participants of Access Australia Groups to find during their Christmas party on Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lowe, a local artist, said that making and leaving the decorations was a way for the group she\u2019s a member of to pay it forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cPart of our group is about reducing loneliness and isolation and bring people together with similar interests,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a way of continuing that on into the community and hoping that our baubles bring joy and happiness to others.\u201d<\/p>\n
