PUPILS from Epsom Primary School stopped by Bendigo Hospital late last week with a special delivery for the children\u2019s ward.<\/p>\n

Members of the school\u2019s student council dropped off books and Christmas decorations to be hung up in the ward.<\/p>\n

They were gratefully accepted by paediatric nurses Nicolette Jochs and Kate Lim.<\/p>\n

The idea for the Christmas decoration project started a few years ago when a grade 1 pupil suggested the hospital make the children\u2019s warm more festive at this time of year.<\/p>\n

The baubles and tinsel for the ward\u2019s Christmas tree, and the books, are donated by families from the school, with members of the student council also making their own decorations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
