\u00a0<\/strong>GOLDEN Square Swimming Pool\u2019s season finished up in adorable fashion on the weekend with their second annual Pool for Paws day taking place.<\/p>\n

The event was a success, with both days booked out well before the weekend rolled around said pool volunteer Linda Howell.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt booked out on Thursday,\u201d she said. \u201cWe did the two days this year, so we have triple the number of dogs coming compared to last year, but we still completely booked out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms Howell said the dogs had been well-behaved and it was a good way to finish up the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s amazing, everyone is having a great time, and the dogs are having a great time,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe dogs have been really good and really friendly. The pool has literally gone to the dogs now though.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dog owner Vince took part in the inaugural day last season and said he is a fan of the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove the idea, we also came last year,\u201d he said. \u201cWe had four of our dogs here today, so we did two sessions of two dogs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will be back next year and the year after that, as long as the pool keeps opening, we will keep coming.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
