THE biggest lifestyle show to come to Bendigo will be in town next month.<\/p>\n
Bendigo Caravan Camping and Leisure Roadshow will showcase the latest campers and caravans said organiser Jeff Leech.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s so many it\u2019s unreal,\u201d he said. \u201cAll the major brands are here.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve got these new retro caravans which are built in Ballarat. They\u2019re plywood, and absolutely brilliant.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey look just outstanding, a modern look. Think of Scandinavian architecture, that\u2019s the feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Yet, it\u2019s not just caravans on show at the event, with a range of other outdoor lifestyle offerings.<\/p>\n
Mr Leech said over the last few years he\u2019s noticed a younger audience attending the Caravan Camping and Leisure Roadshow events.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe big thing that\u2019s happening now is younger people are going caravanning with their families,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of people say I\u2019ve already bought a caravan, but I\u2019d like some accessories.\u201d<\/p>\n
There\u2019ll also be entertainment for children like free pizza making, crafts, and a reptile awareness display.<\/p>\n
The event will be on at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre at the Bendigo Showgrounds from Friday, 2 to Sunday, 4 June, between 9am and 4pm on all days.<\/p>\n
