TOP teams Pyramid Hill and Marong clash in this Saturday\u2019s thirteenth round of senior footy in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.<\/p>\n

Pyramid Hill has home-ground advantage at Mitchell Park as second takes on first.<\/p>\n

The Nathan Fitzpatrick-coached Bulldogs have played great football to be on nine wins and one loss, but are up against the unbeaten reining premier.<\/p>\n

In round four it was Marong which beat the Dogs by seven goals at Malone Park.<\/p>\n

Pyramid Hill overcame a slow start to score a one-goal win at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve last Saturday.<\/p>\n

A hot streak by the Linton Jacobs-coached Panthers kept rolling in a 138-point victory on Newbridge\u2019s turf at Beck Legal Riverside Oval.<\/p>\n

Huge challenge for the Bulldogs\u2019 midfield and on-ballers this Saturday to try and stem the quantity and quality of supply to the Panthers\u2019 forwards.<\/p>\n

A 10-goal haul by Marong star Brandyn Grenfell at Newbridge lifted his season tally to 77 in 11 matches.<\/p>\n

Key players for Pyramid Hill include Zach Alford, Zac Dingwall, Adrian Holland and Bryden Morison.<\/p>\n

A powerful Panthers\u2019 line-up includes Nathan Devanny, Jimmy Gadsden, Jack McCaig and Matt Riordan.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the battle of the bridges as Newbridge hosts Bridgewater at Riverside Oval this Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Rick Ladson-coached Bridgewater is on the rebound from a 25-point loss at home to Inglewood.<\/p>\n

The Mean Machine powered to a 46-point win against the Sam Gale and Daniel Smith-coached Newbridge in the fourth round.<\/p>\n

After consecutive defeats, Inglewood hit back to beat the Mean Machine and will be back on home turf at Dissy Machinery Oval this Saturday to play Mitiamo.<\/p>\n

Players to watch for the Inglewood Blues include Thomas Kennedy, Daniel and Sam Polack, and Fergus Payne.<\/p>\n

The Jon Varcoe-coached Mitiamo will be chasing back-to-back wins after a 34-point win on home turf at John Forbes Oval against Maiden Gully YCW.<\/p>\n

Refreshed by the bye, Calivil United is back at home to play Bears-Lagoon Serpentine in the battle of the Demons and Bears.<\/p>\n

In round four it was the Justin Laird-BLS which fought on to defeat the Anthony Dennis-coached Demons by seven points.<\/p>\n

Maiden Gully YCW has the bye.<\/p>\n
