The company was one of 82 organisations to be named an inclusive employer this year.<\/p>\n
The award seeks to celebrate workplaces where there is a diversity of people who are respected, connected, and contribute to the success of the organisation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis achievement is an important recognition of our commitment to build a diverse, culturally aware and inclusive workforce as well as a testament to our continued focus to build economic and social inclusion for the communities in which we operate,\u201d said CVGT Employment CEO Jason Russell.<\/p>\n
This is the first time the company participated in awards which requires at least 65 per cent of employees to take part in an assessment.<\/p>\n
\u201cA big thanks to the 72 per cent of CVGT Employment staff that took the time to complete the assessment survey, it’s much appreciated,\u201d said Mr Russell.<\/p>\n
To become an inclusive employer, an organisation must exceed the benchmark in five out of six categories which are awareness of diversity and inclusion action, engagement with diversity and inclusion action, inclusive organisational climate, inclusive leadership, inclusive team and exclusion.<\/p>\n
