founded SPAN Central Victoria in 2011, lost a son and a daughter to suicide 21 years ago.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cTwenty years ago, it was something that was really taboo to talk about, and I believe that by sharing my story its able to help people open up about their problems or bikes one day when they saw the tree and thought it would be perfect for the Blue Tree Project.<\/span><span reflect, and chat with somebody else about how you\u2019re going,\u201d she said.<\/span><span people from Bendigo Health\u2019s Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement program, headspace, Bendigo Community Health Services, Victoria Police, and others.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:256}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Rebecca Dowling is a senior clinician with the HOPE program said talking about mental health is important and initiatives like the Blue Tree Project help.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:256}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cJust normalising the conversation on mental health, it\u2019s something that we all experience.\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:256}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThese sorts of initiatives that are a visual representation for people being able to see and initiate that conversation are fabulous.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:256}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ms Dowling said there are lots of services there to support people and many that people probably don\u2019t know about, like the HOPE program.<\/span><span that they feel comfortable reaching out to that\u2019s always something that\u2019s really accessible for people,\u201d she said.<\/span><span
