STUDENTS in their final year at Girton Grammar are celebrating the end of their secondary schooling as well as high academic achievement.<\/p>\n
Girton Grammar principal Dr Emma O\u2019Rielly said the 2024 VCE results were a fitting finale for the graduating students.<\/p>\n
“Myself and all the staff at Girton could not be prouder of our year 12 students,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cNot only have they shown enormous dedication to their studies this year, but they have demonstrated remarkable leadership, kindness and cohesion throughout their time at Girton.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter giving our school so much, it is wonderful to now see them rewarded with magnificent academic results,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
On average the ATAR received by this year\u2019s VCE cohort at Girton was 83.15, placing over half of their students in the top 20 per cent of the state.<\/p>\n
Seven students received ATARs of 99, meaning they were within the top one per cent of all Victorian students.<\/p>\n
Dr O\u2019Rielly said academic excellence was only one area in which Girton aims to encourage their students.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur ultimate goal is to empower our students to pursue the future of their choice, and I\u2019m confident these graduates will be able to do just that by drawing not only on their excellent study scores but every element of their Girton education,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
