a sustainable way to bring young people into our health service for the purpose of volunteering,\u201d said Bendigo Health director of volunteer services Sharon Walsh.\u00a0<\/span><span volunteers do, but they\u2019re also getting an environmental experience of the health service to help them think about their careers, but also think about community participation and giving back to data-contrast=\"auto\">Ms Walsh said the hospital is liaising with La Trobe University to see if an agreement can be reached about granting preferential admission to applicants who have done the program.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe\u2019ve started conversations with La Trobe University and we\u2019re hoping that we will be able to be part of their Aspire program which means that students undertaking our program would be able to use that program
