ORGANISERS have been forced to ditch Groovin the Moo’s 2024 tour because of insufficient ticket sales. <\/p>\n
The music festival’s team expressed their disappointment and thanked people for their support.<\/p>\n
“Ticket sales have not been sufficient to deliver a regional festival of this kind,” organisers said in a statement last week.<\/p>\n
“All tickets will be refunded automatically.<\/p>\n
“We hope to be able to bring Groovin the Moo back to regional communities in the future.”<\/p>\n
This is the second time the festival has cancelled its dates in its 19-year history, being paused in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. <\/p>\n
The festival was set for Prince of Wales Showground on Saturday 27 April in Bendigo as well as stops at Wayville, Canberra, Bunbury, Newcastle and the Sunshine Coast.<\/p>\n
The 2024 line-up was announced in January, featuring both local talent such as Jet, The Jungle Giants and DMA’s, and international acts including Mura Masa, Kenya Grace and Armani White. <\/p>\n
