{"id":97195,"date":"2024-06-29T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/?p=97195"},"modified":"2024-06-26T19:02:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T09:02:24","slug":"sonic-celebration-on-the-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/living\/sonic-celebration-on-the-hill\/","title":{"rendered":"Sonic celebration on the hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DEDICATED electronic music fans are in for a thrill with the latest edition of Lush Lounge Series, a professionally curated listening party featuring an all-female lineup of DJs, Sassta and Natasha Connor.<\/p>\n<p>Billed as more of a &#8220;gathering of friends in a non-confronting environment&#8221; than a nightclub, the early evening event will feature audio visual production standards rarely seen in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Organiser Darren Tolley said the night is unique in that it &#8220;adheres to the original values of the electronic music scene, whereby it&#8217;s all about acceptance, but most of all the most cutting edge amazing music that you could ever experience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_97196\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-97196\" style=\"width: 601px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-97196\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/06\/LL1_91053.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"601\" height=\"802\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/06\/LL1_91053.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/06\/LL1_91053-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/06\/LL1_91053-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/06\/LL1_91053-1152x1536.jpg 1152w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-97196\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Lush Lounge Series is more of a friendly gathering than a night club environment.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s designed for people who are drawn towards really refined sounds in a non-pop star environment,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s about being intimately surrounded by the sound that the artists are showcasing, that&#8217;s the focus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Daylesford&#8217;s Sassta will set off the proceedings from 6pm to 8pm, followed by Natasha Connor from 8pm to 10pm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sasta does part originally produced content, and that predominantly includes stripped back, deep, low tempo house that&#8217;s heavily tribal influenced,&#8221; Tolley explained.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Natasha is going to play minimal German influenced house\/techno.
