PLANS for a large industrial business park in East Bendigo have been approved by the City of Greater Bendigo councillors<\/p>\n

The 22,300 square-metre site at 8 to16 Rohs Road will include 17 offices, 57 warehouses, two large factories and an onsite cafe. Unit sizes range from 109 square metres to 2360 square metres.<\/p>\n

It will be known as Prime Business Park.. Pre-sales are under way and the first stage of construction is planned to start in December or early next year.<\/p>\n

“We are thrilled to acquire the site and unveil a significant development for the continued growth of East Bendigo and the wider region,” a statement from developer Prime Urban Group said.<\/p>\n

“Our team has worked with a number of industry-leading consultants to design a business park appealing to all users.<\/p>\n

“It’s an incredible opportunity to create something of value for the region.”<\/p>\n

The inclusion of 17 offices alongside 57 warehouses and factories will create a community hub, according to Prime Urban Group.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

McKean McGregor Real Estate is handling the sales campaign and its commercial manager, Jeremy Brown, said the property was well connected, central to surrounding industrial businesses and was close to the airport and the Bendigo CBD.<\/p>\n

“We look forward to working with the developers on this exciting project and feel the mix of products in the proposed plan will be very well received in the market,” Mr Brown said.<\/p>\n

The Prime Urban Group statement said the inclusion of 17 offices would create a community hub and offered “an opportunity for companies to amalgamate their administrative, managerial and creative functions in one location.”<\/p>\n

“The industrial landscape of East Bendigo is undoubtedly a pivotal driver of economic growth and regional development in Bendigo,” it said.<\/p>\n

“As demand for efficient, well-equipped spaces continues to surge, businesses and investors find themselves grappling with a shortage that could potentially impede the area’s growth trajectory.<\/p>\n

“Projects such as this business park at Rohs Road is well timed to deliver on the experienced shortages.”<\/p>\n

The developer has appointed Bendigo’s Franklin & Walsh Builders to handle construction.<\/p>\n
