“Of course, this project would not have been possible without our funding partners and dedicated community groups. The City was delighted to contribute $3 million towards this project along with a $250,000 grant awarded to the 1st Strathfieldsaye Scouts from the Victorian State Government.<\/p>\n
“Two years ago, we opened the new change rooms and amenities, umpire’s change rooms and a new canteen and kiosk.<\/p>\n
“Today, we celebrate the next iteration of the building, an extension that improves our ability to see the bowling area, a new kitchen, office space for the user groups and upgrades to existing facilities including social spaces.”<\/p>\n
“Importantly, the facilities are more inclusive and better integrated.<\/p>\n
“We can now enjoy a more user-friendly, fit-for-purpose building that will support increased female participation in sport and greater overall access to the community.”<\/p>\n
