THE City of Greater Bendigo has announced a restructure of the organisation after the appointment of Andrew Cooney as CEO in December last year, and high-level positions recently becoming vacant.<\/p>\n
The move has been flagged as an effort to sharpen COGB’s focus on enhanced customer service, economic development, business attraction, as well as major project delivery.<\/p>\n
Two positions have been removed from the structure while four staff have been redeployed.<\/p>\n
Several management roles are currently being advertised.<\/p>\n
Mr Cooney said they represent an exciting opportunity for successful applicants to build their career while helping deliver for the Bendigo community.<\/p>\n
“They are not newly funded roles in our organisation, they are either existing roles that have been vacated or are a merger or repurposing of roles to better support (our) strategic direction,” he said.<\/p>\n
“Bendigo and the wider region has much to offer skilled leaders who may be looking for a tree-change: culture, history, education, recreation and events can all be found here.<\/p>\n
