How long have you lived in your council?: Since late 2009.<\/p>\n
Community involvement: I volunteer with RDA and Thorne Harbour Country whenever possible.<\/p>\n
Associated with a political party or movement?: I was a foundation member of the Reason party, and paid up within the ASXP before that. I have previously been a member of the Wikileaks party, and am a current member of the United Workers Union.<\/p>\n
Preferencing: I need to find out more about Donna Nicholas and Emma Berglund, so at this stage I will personally be preferencing Damien Hurrell as I see a lot of policy parallels… I encourage voters to make their own choices.<\/p>\n
Campaign budget? Receiving financial support?: I don’t have much of a budget, sadly, and I am not receiving any financial assistance from anyone. Essentially it will be whatever I can afford as a worker on minimum wage.<\/p>\n
Three most important issues in your ward? The housing crisis needs to be addressed, including council getting involved in supporting crisis accommodation… We need to do more to be inclusive of people with disabilities and do more to welcome people from diverse backgrounds into Bendigo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
