Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Living Arts Space is located in the Bendigo Visitor Centre, 51\u201367 Pall Mall, and is open from 9am to 4.30pm daily.<\/p>\n<p>Curator Amy Carr-Bottomley said the collection will spark curiosity among those who see it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Both artists aim to challenge the idea of sculpture,&#8221; Ms Carr-Bottomley said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Andre&#8217;s works showcase creative techniques for joining, machining and milling raw metals, having been inspired by natural seed structures.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/10\/MetalMorphix01_54162.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Original: Some of Mr Sardone&#8217;s creations in his &#8216;Pod&#8217; series. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Noel&#8217;s unique objects are made of machinery, industrial parts, laboratory and photographic equipment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mr Sardone was present at the Living Arts Space last Saturday and Sunday to talk with visitors about his work.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition opening coincided with this year&#8217;s instalment of the Bendigo Open Studios weekend, which ran from Friday to Sunday.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/24\/2024\/10\/MetalMorphix02_62433.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Curiosity: A different take on a vintage telephone. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More than 30 regional artists opened their studios to visitors for the event, during which visitors could watch a demonstration, learn about an artist&#8217;s work from the artists themselves, or attend a workshop.<\/p>\n<p>They also had the opportunity to purchase work directly from the artists, or from any of the group&#8217;s local supporting galleries.<\/p>\n<p>Painters, print makers, textile artists, photographers, jewellers, street artists and sculptors were among the creatives who participated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BENDIGO&#8217;S Living Arts Space is hosting a new exhibition featuring the work of local creatives Andre Sardone and Noel Muscat.
