I have a PhD in sustainable tourism and have worked as a consultant to prepare best practice state and federal Destination Management Plans.

How long in the Byron community?

I have lived in Byron Shire for 38 years.

Community involvement?

I have a strong history in working with state and local governments and regional and local tourism organisations due to my expertise in this area. Board director for Destination North Coast and NORPA.

Guiding values or principles?

Making decisions based on strong evidence, expert opinion, and community feedback.

Are you or have you associated with any political party or cause?

Our team members do not belong to any political party, and never have.

Preferential voting suggestions?

Labor team 2nd, Green team 3rd.

Campaign budget?

Hopefully under $5,000, all paid for by donations from our supporters.

Top three issues facing your area?

Progressing the Residential Strategy, getting the Byron Shire Rail Trail built, improving destination management planning for all our destinations.
