An award winning wildlife film-maker, environmentalist and businessman. I have a background in tourism and primary production

How long in the Byron community?

I was sent to Byron Bay by ABC TV 25 years ago. It was an easy decision to make this wonderful place my home.

Community involvement?

Mentoring young people. Founding member of the Byron Bay International Film Festival. Part of an emergency response team during the floods.

Guiding values or principles?

I hold strong values that can support a healthy, innovative, hardworking and caring community.

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?

Never, as I believe they limit initiative and hinder the ability to work openly.

Those with a strong commitment to the wellbeing of our community.

$5,000 at present and is self-funded.

The effect of Australia’s economic slowdown on our business community. Land tax reform. Affordable housing solutions.
