Engineer, educator, and environmentalist specialising in water, climate adaptation, and sustainability.

How long in the Byron community?

Having been raised in the Byron Shire area, I have a deep connection to our community.

Community involvement?

Leading Team Mullum in the Yes23 campaign, contributing to the Federal Community-led Resilience Team, and serving on Council’s Water and Sewer Advisory Committee.

Guiding values or principles?

My values align closely with those of the Greens, focusing on creating a sustainable future for our people and our planet.

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?

I’m an active member of the Greens, convening Byron Greens and campaigning with Mandy Nolan for Richmond.

Top three issues facing your area?

The housing crisis. Community resilience. Water security. I plan to use my professional expertise and personal experience to address these issues head-on, supporting initiatives that strengthen our community and enable water security in the face of the climate crisis.
