Current occupation and background:

I am running to be a big voice for the North of the Shire. There are no councillors from Ocean Shores, New Brighton or South Golden Beach and that needs to change. I own a small creative music and event business called Song Dynasty Music.

Community involvement?

I create community events including Festival of the Voice in Brunswick Heads. I have organised many music events to raise money for great local organisations.

Guiding values or principles?

I am running because I believe in politics. I believe that creative people should be involved in politics, and they have been sorely lacking in the past few years. We are a largely untapped group who are equipped with lived and professional experience to benefit public service and policy.

Are you or have you been associated with any political party or cause?

I firmly believe that the best use of my time and experience is in the Labor Party, in the room, so to speak and I know Labor is committed to working towards getting things done to improve lives, not shouting into the wind in protest. This requires persistence, hard work, compromise, discussion, and sometimes arguments.
