TWEED River House is bringing back its elegant high tea service, with the award-winning riverside venue set to host the experience every Saturday from July 12.
Held in the grand chandelier-lit dining room, the high tea offers a refined afternoon of locally inspired flavours, stunning river views, and gracious hospitality.
The decision to make high tea a weekly fixture follows strong demand after a one-off event earlier this year.
Guests can expect five savoury and five sweet items per person, each prepared with care by the venue’s acclaimed kitchen team.
Menu highlights include ocean trout gravlax with lemon myrtle labneh, beef tartare with pomme allumette, and lobster mini rolls.
Sweets include apple tartlets with tonka bean, white chocolate ganache, banana parfait with gold wafer, and a rich snicker peanut financier.
Freshly baked scones with rosella jam and mascarpone cream are also part of the offering.
High tea is served with Bastion Lane Coffee or Mayde Organic Tea and is priced at $90 per person.
Tweed River House blends historic charm with modern dining and was recently awarded a Chef Hat in the 2025 Australian Good Food Guide.
Bookings are essential and can be made online or by phone.
