Hinterland hideaway makes a splash with pool bash
LUXURIOUS hinterland retreat The Brooklet is opening its gates to the public for its end of summer Rosé All Day pool party on Saturday, March 1.
Guests will be able to sip a selection of Australian and French rosés by the pool as they take in the view from the 50-hectare macadamia and stone fruit farm, which is located next to Gaia Retreat & Spa in the hamlet of Brooklet near Newrybar.
The ticket price includes a glass of rosé on arrival, half a dozen oysters, and a sashimi plate from Miami Fish Market on the Gold Coast that can be enjoyed picnic-style around the property as DJs, including Sam King Curtis, play tunes.

Spritzes, cocktails and beers will also be available to buy from the bar, which is housed in a former tractor shed, as well as prawn rolls and fries in the afternoon.
“There’s plenty of places to grab a posi and hang out – by the pool, on the grass, on the deck,” beverage manager Stella Ayoub said.
“There will be blow-up flamingos and rainbows in the pool.

“It’s great if you come with a group of friends but by the end of last year’s event everyone was in the pool together.
“It’s just a really relaxed day with lots of fun vibes.”
Opened by Greta Smith and her family in 2023, The Brooklet was named the Stand Up Start Up and Business of the Year in the 2024 Uniquely Byron Business Awards.

Inspired by a resort in Tuscany, the adults-only getaway has six contemporary brick villas and a three-bedroom residence called The Bails.
Tickets to the Rosé All Day event cost $145 per person.
