Kingscliff author urges shift from burnout to wellbeing
KINGSCLIFF author Tim Jack Adams has released a new book aimed at helping readers reclaim their energy, mindset and sense of purpose.
In Energised, Adams delivers a science-backed, practical guide to regaining energy, upgrading mindsets and living with more intention.
The global thought leader and founder of the wellbeing consultancy GreenX7 has spent a decade working with international organisations including PwC and the Australian Defence Force.
Adams said that in a culture obsessed with doing more, many people are running on less — less energy, clarity and connection.
“We’ve never been more digitally connected,” he said.
“But we’ve never felt more disconnected from ourselves, from each other and from nature.
“That disconnection is draining our energy. It’s time for The Great Reconnect.”

Adams said the book is not just another self-help title. He described it as a blueprint for The Great Reconnect movement.
He said it was a call to shift from burnout to balance and from disconnection to deep, sustainable wellbeing.
Energised includes science-based tools to recharge sustainably, strategies for high performance without sacrificing wellbeing and ways to structure the day, workspace and screen time for better focus and recovery.
It also explores sleep, movement and nutrition and offers practical ways to reconnect with oneself, community, loved ones and nature.
“Your energy is your edge,” Adams said.
“When you understand how to manage and renew it deliberately, everything changes from your performance to your relationships.”
