This special evening in the award-winning Tweed River House dining room will feature the Caldera Chamber Ensemble, a nine-piece orchestra conducted by celebrated local maestro Barry Singh.

TWEED River House is hosting an unforgettable night of elegance and entertainment with an encore performance of its Swing & Swoon dinner on Saturday, August 23.

Set beneath sparkling chandeliers and ornate pressed metal ceilings, this special evening in the award-winning dining room will feature the Caldera Chamber Ensemble, a nine-piece orchestra conducted by celebrated local maestro Barry Singh.

The performance will unfold over three live music sets woven between courses, starting at 6pm.

To accompany the music, guests will enjoy a sophisticated three-course set menu with a choice of dishes from the venue’s new winter selection, prepared with the finest local ingredients.

Entrée choices include roasted celeriac with miso and quince, or Goondiwindi pork collar with morel mushrooms and pork crumble. Mains feature Goulburn River rainbow trout with warm potato salad and caviar, or dry-aged Northern Rivers Angus boneless short ribs with truffle jus. Dessert options include a rich peanut financier with caramel and chocolate cremeux, or the elegant gateaux au lait with wild vanilla and lavender.

Throughout the evening, the ensemble will bring the golden age of swing to life with classics such as Chattanooga Choo Choo, Puttin’ on the Ritz, La Vie en Rose, Moonlight Serenade, I’ve Got Rhythm by George Gershwin, and a rousing Glenn Miller medley.

“This is a first-time event, and we are thrilled to have the talented Barry Singh and Caldera Chamber appear for an unforgettable evening of ‘Swing & Swoon’ against the backdrop of the elegant dining room,” the event organiser and owner of Tweed River House said.

Tickets are $185 per person, which includes three music performances and the full three-course dinner with bread. Drinks are additional, and selections will be available from the venue’s curated wine and cocktail list.

With limited seats available, guests are encouraged to book early for this one-night-only celebration of vintage charm, world-class music, and regional cuisine.
