Final week to apply for regional grants
APPLICATIONS for the Qantas Regional Grants program close in one week, with Northern Rivers organisations urged to get their entries in.
Now in its fourth year, the Qantas Regional Grants program seeks to help regional communities create brighter futures by providing financial, flight and marketing support to charities, organisations, projects and individuals.
The grants have supported more than 80 not-for-profit groups and projects across regional Australia, granting $5 million in support since the program launched in 2019.
In 2024, 28 grants were awarded $2 million from a record-breaking 1,700 applications.
In the last two years, Story Dogs, a Northern Rivers-based organisation, has successfully funded travel expenses for its annual conference.
Good360 Australia secured funds to support refurbishing and redistributing laptops to residents who were impacted by the 2022 floods.
The grants program offers recipients a combination of cash grants, flights in kind and marketing support, depending on the organisation’s needs.
Entries close on May 10.
