Win a $14 million Byron Bay prize home in RSL Queensland’s latest lottery draw, supporting ADF members and families.

A MULTI-million dollar dollar Byron Bay home is up for grabs in a prize lottery valued at nearly $14 million.

Located on Pacific Vista Drive, the four-bedroom property, named Portum, has views over Tallow Beach, a sunken lounge with a wraparound velvet sofa, a floating fireplace, a magnesium infinity pool and a firepit.

“This is the first Byron Bay property in quite a while,” RSL Queensland spokeswoman Kylie McLeod said. “We asked our customers where they would like to see a prize home and Byron Bay was high up on the list.”

RSL Queensland runs six major prize home draws each year through its Dream Home Art Union lottery (formerly the RSL Art Union). Funds raised go toward providing support, assistance, advice, and camaraderie to current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families.

“Historically the majority of our prize homes have been in Queensland but this year alone we have already

had a Victorian prize and now our amazing Byron Bay property,” McLeod said.

Portum was built by Todd Miller of Ziegler Build in 2022. While the home is valued at $10.85 million, the total prize package includes an additional $464,918 worth of designer furniture and appliances, plus $1.75 million in gold to help the winner live a lifestyle that matches the luxury home.

The house was constructed using sustainable materials and includes a solar power system and EV charging station. It is accessible from the beach via a bush track through Arakwal National Park, and is just a five-minute drive from the Byron Bay CBD.

The Dream Home Art Union began in 1956 as a continuous fundraising initiative for RSL Queensland. It has since grown into Australia’s largest prize home lottery, offering more than $80 million in prizes annually.
