Spaghetti Circus annual extravaganza returns
SPAGHETTE Circus returns with the 2025 iteration of its ever-popular home ground annual show in Mullumbimby from June 27 to 29. This year’s theme, Game On!, presents five colourful, high-energy shows of circus magic over the three days.
Spaghetti Circus head of school Petrina Hutchinson said the event was highly valued and provided students with an opportunity to develop their skills and shine on stage. “It’s an incredible opportunity for the kids to get real performance experience in front of a big crowd,” Hutchinson said.
“They learn so much about connection, community and the magic of live performance.
“It’s always inspiring to see how they grow – both as circus artists and young people.”

Weaving around a playful theme of games, the mash-up of circus acts will feature the creativity and courage of students from all classes.
Young performer Mattea Keily said it was an exciting opportunity.
“It’s so thrilling and a bit nerve-wracking to be up on stage in front of such a big crowd of parents and the local community,” she said.
“But it’s also so much fun. We’ve been working hard, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
This year’s show will also showcase adult performers from the Adults Circus Fit class, Elixir for Life, Adult Aerials, and the While You Wait Circus group.
“It’s fantastic to see so many adults performing alongside the kids,” Hutchinson said.

“It shows that circus isn’t just for children – it’s a lifelong adventure.”
Proceeds will go to scholarships for families, essential equipment, and programs such as the recent intergenerational tour that brought circus to preschools and aged care facilities.
“The Annual Show is truly a community celebration,” Hutchinson said.
“It’s a chance for kids and adults to step into the spotlight, for families and friends to cheer them on, and for everyone to experience the joy of circus.”
