Speed networking and business breakfast events in Ballina
BYRON and Beyond Networking is set to host two dynamic events in Ballina aimed at fostering business connections and growth: a speed networking session and a business breakfast.
The business breakfast is scheduled for August 14 at The Gallery Cafe, 46 Cherry Street, Ballina.
The speed networking event will take place on August 21 at the same venue.
Founder and director Rosemarie Toynbee said the speed networking event, modeled on speed dating, provides a lively and efficient way to connect with others.
“It’s fun and light and a great opportunity to connect with others,” Mrs Toynbee said.
Designed for anyone looking to promote their business and forge meaningful connections, the event allows participants to bypass small talk and dive straight into impactful networking.
“A lot of our members have met their best friend through our networking group,” Mrs Toynbee said.
“It’s great for people who are new to the area as well as those already established.”
The speed networking session promises numerous benefits, including sharing knowledge, learning from others, gaining new clients, and building business reputations.
In addition to the speed networking event, Byron and Beyond Networking will also host a business breakfast, featuring insightful presentations on various topics relevant to small businesses.
“The breakfast is a bit more structured; we always have a presenter and it is usually based on a topic,” Mrs Toynbee said.
Previous topics have included cyber security and social media, with an upcoming session on fashion colours and personal styling.
The coming business breakfast on August 14 will feature Barefruit Marketing account manager Claire Pariken.
Ms Pariken will present “Social Media Tips for Small Businesses – What You Need to Know for Each Social Media Platform”.
There are also other networking events and breakfasts coming up in Byron and Bangalow.
