THE Northern is set to host a night of Taylor Swift hits with “Taylor Swift: The Eras Party” on August 9.<\/p>\n
Swifties can expect an all-night celebration as the DJ plays the best songs from every Taylor Swift album.<\/p>\n
A spokesperson from The Northern said the organiser had done several other successful events at the venue.<\/p>\n
“We’re just really hoping that it’s going to be as amazing as the others,” she said.<\/p>\n
Fans are encouraged to embrace the theme and come dressed in their best Taylor Swift-inspired outfits.<\/p>\n
“We had a lot of people go full-out with their outfits at previous events, so I’m hoping we get a lot of that here too,” the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
Taylor Swift visited Australia in February with her popular Eras Tour, and organisers say that for those who missed out or for those who want to relive the experience, this is a perfect opportunity to celebrate her music.<\/p>\n
Various reports at the time estimated the economic impact of the Eras Tour would be anywhere between $140m to $1bn.<\/p>\n
KPMG put it at a more modest $10m, or 0.002 per cent, in the March quarter.<\/p>\n
Fans say regardless of the exact figure, the excitement and enthusiasm generated by the tour were undeniable.<\/p>\n
