I’ve been a local of Byron Shire since 1995. I have been the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander academic and cultural mentor and coordinator at Byron Bay High School for 10 years.<\/p>\n
Community involvement?<\/p>\n
Throughout my time here, I’ve been involved in social and environmental activism. Being a teacher at Byron Bay High School and academic has equipped me with strong research, listening, and communication skills.<\/p>\n

A commitment to long-term sustainability, addressing the climate crisis, First Nations justice, and environmental protection.<\/p>\n
Are you or have you associated with any political party or cause?<\/p>\n
I have been a Greens voter my entire adult life and a Greens member since early 2023.<\/p>\n
Top three issues facing your area?<\/p>\n
Environmental protection, affordable housing, and support for Indigenous communities.
